Data Analyst/Architect - Data Warehousing

This position will identify data remediation opportunities and provide recommendations for solving, and implementing solutions to provide data consistency and accuracy for data being loaded into a new data warehouse.

Responsibilities include:
- Establish a common set of data definitions.
- Establish logical names for attributes.
- Build an integrated mapping of attributes from the multiple sources.
- Identify requirements for data to be corrected, cleansed and/or transformed.
- Identify data relationships.
- Logical and physical data models.
- Populate a source to target mapping of data.
- Provide requirements to change source systems where problems have been identified.
- Provide requirements to mitigate identified data issues.
- Work with project leaders to identify reporting requirements and develop needed detailed business requirements.

Job Experience:
Required Skills:

- 5+ years of Data Analysis or Architecture experience.
- Ability to understand business needs and recommend solutions.
- Expert knowledge of the relationship of data structures as they relate to reporting systems.
- Ability to analyze existing business processes and make improvement recommendations.
- Ability to take a business need and turn it into a requirement that can be turned over for development.
- Ability to develop detail design and mapping requirements.
- Experience creating functional specifications and source to target mapping documents.
- Experience with industry standard data warehousing tools including; quality and analysis tools, reporting tools, SQL, etc...
- Understanding of project lifecycles and required artifacts.
- Ability to perform project management of small projects.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of data warehouse methodologies and dimensional modeling.
- Able to highlight issues and problems and convey complex.
- Data Warehousing.
