Position Description:
We have an opening for an experienced DW Modeler/Analyst. We require 7-10 years of hands-on data modeling experience in large transaction and data warehouse environments. The right individual will be creative, comfortable with high pressure client issues, and able to apply a number of data warehouse design/modeling techniques.

Responsibilities include data analysis, data mapping, logical data modeling, and physical database design. This is a senior position.

Position Responsibilities:
- Assist with identification and definition of business requirements
- Lead efforts to perform one or more of the following activities:
1. Data Analysis
2. Data mapping (map data requirements between application systems)
3. Identify mapping of ?codes? and their valid values between applications (crosswalk)
4. Logical data modeling (large data models)
5. Physical database design (large databases)
6. Identification, definition, and documentation of meta data
7. Lead and/or assist with development of application ?views? to extract data from databases
- Assist with relevant application system design, development, and testing efforts
- Assist with the design, development, and testing of meta data strategy

Requirements:
- 7-10 years data modeling experience in large transaction and data warehouse environments
- At least one large (terabyte) data warehouse implementation
- Proven and referenced work in data warehouse environments as a data modeler/analyst
- Embarcadero and MS/SQL-Server experience plus
- In depth knowledge of large database design techniques (MS/SQL-Server, Oracle, Teradata)
