Defined Contribution Consultant

Job Summary

Managing Defined Contribution client accounts by meeting client needs and objectives and being responsive and accessible to clients, consistent with NEPC philosophy. Position includes:



? Assisting in investment manager and record-keeping/administration service provider searches.

? Preparation of quarterly reports for client investment performance.

? Conducting due diligence on bundled and unbundled service providers and investment management firms.

? Developing and reviewing client investment policies.

? Determining the appropriate asset allocation for each client.

? Conducting investment manager searches.

? Educating clients as to their investments and to general topics of interest in the investment industry.

? Some travel required.

 

Job Requirements

Seeking a poised individual with excellent presentation and writing skills and a solid technical background. Minimum four (4) years of investment experience in the Defined Contribution area required; investment experience in the Defined Benefit field; CFA designation and/or advanced degree (or progress toward these credentials) a plus. Knowledge of asset allocation, performance attribution and basic computer skills is preferred. Ability to handle multiple, unique client relationships (alone or on a team basis) is an inherent job requirement.
