Development SW Engineer (Lead)

CITY: Hillsboror, OR STATE: Oregon COUNTRY: USA Essential Functions (Responsibilities):

As part of the Clinical Data Services (CDS) Development Team you will be responsible for developing new software components, extending our existing components and providing third tier support for our CDS product line. Key responsibilities include:

Developing new and extending existing software components
Developing timely estimates for new product or extension components
Developing Designs, Requirements, and Unit Tests for new components
Tracking status and communicate progress effectively to Project Manager and Engineering Manager
Providing necessary knowledge transfer to Systems and Support organizations
Triaging, troubleshooting and developing patches for released product components


Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in CS or EE or minimum of high school degree with 4 years development experience
Minimum of 3 years experience in Visual Studio or Java Development
Minimum of 3 years experience in SQL Server or Oracle Development
Minimum of 1 year experience in PL/SQL Oracle Development
Minimum of 2 years experience in Java Development


Desired:
Experience with reporting tools including MicroStrategy, and Cognos
Experience with the Centricity EMR or CDS products
Experience with DOORS
Experience with Healthcare Messaging Including : HL7, DICOM, NCPDP, and X12
Familiarity with data warehousing concepts
Excellent Written and Oral Communication Skills
Excellent Estimation Skills
