Director of Engineering (Computer Hardware Systems Design)

Description: We seek a Director of Engineering who is a visionary leader with excellent people management skills.  He/she is responsible for coordination of the activities of the engineering department to design both software and hardware products, oversees the integration, certification, testing and transition to manufacture. 

 

Responsibilities:

The incumbent designs and generates creative solutions, translates concepts and information into images, uses feedback to modify designs and develops project plans, coordinates projects and completes them on time and budget. 

The ideal candidate displays passion and optimism and includes staff in planning, decision-making, and facilitating and project improvement. 

 

Qualifications:

Qualifications include a Bachelor?s degree in Electrical Engineering or other related information technology discipline

Minimum of 8 years experience managing the design of computer related hardware products

Experience in the security field preferred
