We are currently seeking a Director of Operations, Advanced Designations Program Offerings, who will:

 



? Be responsible for coordinating the seamless delivery of several of Kaplan?s highest-profile and fastest-growing Program Offerings, including our Accelerated Certificate in Financial Planning course and a Review for the Certified Financial Planner Exam

? Report directly to the Senior Vice President of Advanced Designations, and work at the Saint Rose office in Louisiana

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

The Director of Operations, Advanced Designations Program Offerings utilizes his/her people and project leadership skills to ensure Kaplan?s product development, customer service, marketing, sales, and operations teams coordinate to deliver an exceptional classroom experience.  In this new, key individual contributor position, you will:

 

? Develop forward-looking plans, strategies, and analysis for policy development, processes, and workflow

? Identify, develop, and project manage new business opportunities, internal enhancements, and performance metrics

? Mobilize internal departments in designing, documenting, and implementing processes and procedures for customer service, grading, marketing, student results reporting, online materials delivery, and other areas

? Collaborate with a Kaplan sister company and Kaplan?s product development group to implement and rollout revisions to study material based on feedback from students and instructors

? Create, document, and distribute national classroom course schedules

? Oversee the preparation and shipment of pre-class packets to instructors

? Oversee the reconciliation of class attendance and student registration information post-class

? Troubleshoot customer service issues as appropriate

? Process royalty payments to 3d party content developer

? Prepare monthly sales and revenue forecasting

? Track inventory of materials weekly and coordinating with product development and warehouse departments to ensure adequate supply

? Liaise with marketing, sales, and customer service teams to answer program questions and help write and/or edit marketing/sales collateral

? Develop ?frequently asked questions? and other resources to support field, headquarters, and instructor personnel

? Coordinate with compliance & grading departments to ensure proper grading of course exams and crediting of insurance continuing education credits

 

Skills & Prior Experience Required:

 

? Bachelor?s degree and at least 5+ years of professional experience.  This experience preferably will include a track record of success in corporate environments

? Our ideal Director of Operations, Advanced Designations Program Offerings will be an exceptionally organized, detail-oriented individual who also possesses above-average planning skills.  In addition to being able to anticipate problems and prevent them before they arise, s/he will also be a strong crisis manager when they do

? Must demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and thrive within organizations with varying structure

? Must possess a command of written and spoken English with outstanding project management skills?a detail-oriented individual with superior analytical and communication skills

? Must be comfortable with creating processes and policies where none currently exist ? and accepting accountability for decisions made as part of this process

 

Please Note:  Relocation support to New Orleans area will be provided for the right candidate.
