Engagement Manager

Engagement Manager Strafford Technology, a leader in providing Business Intelligence and Performance Management solutions, is seeking an Engagement Manager with proven experience leading multiple CPM and BI implementations.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:
? Establishes project strategy by finalizing contract requirements; studying client's strategic business drivers; discovering and validating business and technical requirements; advising client regarding potential solutions; obtaining input from subject-matter experts; developing proposals; planning project life-cycle deliverables; defining service levels.
? Reduces costs and increases serviceability by identifying best practices.
? Provide pre-sales and product demonstration to prospective clients including interaction with key client contacts such as CFO?s and controllers.

? Assembles project resources by forming a delivery team; forecasting financial and staff requirements; preparing project budget; coordinating support services.
? Develops project solutions by formulating objectives; managing the exploration, evaluation, and design of solutions; preparing implementation specifications.
? Accomplishes project objectives by communicating team deliverables; monitoring project progress; managing team and individual contributions; conducting implementation reviews; preparing and completing action plans; tracking action items; examining, researching, and resolving or escalating issues.

? Validates project solutions by establishing and measuring metrics.
? Manages client expectations by building and expanding relationships; communicating project status and open deployment/integration issues; preparing reports; identifying and negotiating engagement additions and extensions.

 

Requirements:
? Ability to lead concurrent client engagements; through entire life cycle.
? Strong client interface with an emphasis on customer satisfaction.
? Lead the development of a conceptual design for an overall business intelligence/performance solution.
? Specific experience with the design and implementation of leading business intelligence/ performance management vendors, such as: Hyperion, OutlookSoft or Cognos.
? Functional expertise with the following processes: Financial close and consolidation process, planning and budgeting process, management reporting.
? Extensive travel is a requirement of this position 75 -100%
? Other Performance Management application experience is a plus

? Bachlors degree required. Masters preferred.
