Engagement Manager - Total Rewards

The Engagement Manager - Total Rewards will support the complete spectrum of financial programs offered by an employer to its employees, comprising all Compensation, Benefits and Career programs. To fulfill this role, the Engagement Manager will:Develop and lead assignments to define the role and core attributes of each of the components of a client’s Total Rewards in the context of the organization’s business and workforce strategies i.e., to lead (in collaboration with senior line of business consultants) the development of a client’s overarching Total Rewards “framework” that will drive decisions on the design of each individual program Identify inconsistencies between a client’s business/workforce strategies and its Total Rewards programs, resulting in opportunities for Mercer to re-align the client’s Total Rewards framework or its component programs; and lead/review work that is generated Assist client managers and senior business consultants in developing and delivering relevant project work, ensuring alignment of Mercer’s consulting services with the client’s Total Rewards framework.  This has particular value where our work is multi-country in content Contribute to the future development and enhancement of Mercer’s Total Rewards intellectual capital and value proposition.

Ten plus years of experience working with a broad rewards perspective, ideally with exposure to multinational organizations Demonstrated experience consulting at a senior corporate level with a strategic focus (either as a consultant or as an internal corporate specialist) Strong internal (cross-line of business and geography) relationship building and collaboration capability Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal, consultative, business development and leadership skills Excellent project management skills Global/cross-border consulting and project management experience preferred, but not required
