Enterprise Architect; Company Brief: Our client is a small and growing Federal integrator with a diverse and expanding client base.  With nearly 100 employees they now seek an Enterprise Architect to join their growing team.  This client offers the right candidate excellent compensation, to$130k or more, plus a world-class benefit program. 


 


Job Description: The Enterprise Architect will be an expert at the departmental level and provide enterprise architecture (EA) support to a Federal client.  This hands-on position will have knowledge of data management principles and concepts including data warehousing, data modeling, and data mining tools and techniques. You will have a strong Knowledge of Federal Enterprise Architecture (FEA) framework as well as strong understanding of the IT systems development life cycle management principles and methods.  The ability to analyze and evaluate data will be critical to the success of this position.  Familiarity with the Zachman framework, the Popkin EA tool or similar applications is beneficial.  Exposure to EA Web Modeler or Metis and experience with UML or MDA is beneficial. The EA will provide business, process, data analysis and modeling and mapping support. The successful candidate will create and update EA models while adhering to applicable Federal standards, guidelines and policies. The successful candidate will be well versed in writing technical documentation and our client expects that they will support various EA communications efforts at the executive level.  This is a high-visibility position with exceptional career growth potential.  Our client offers an excellent compensation and benefit program with an initial salary to $130k or more.


 


Qualifications:  Ten years overall experience with four years EA experience.  Must have EA and project management experience.  Familiarity and an understanding of the Zachman framework.  Exposure to Popkin, Metis or EA Web Model is beneficial as is experience with business, process, data analysis and modeling support. Must have good interpersonal skills, client relationship skills, and writing/communications. Degree is a degree. Position may subject to a government clearance, US Citizenship is required.
