Job Description:
BearingPoint has an exciting opportunity for a Consultant with technical and / or functional experience in service and asset management tools and processes. As a Consultant, you a member of an engagement team in their delivery of successful Enterprise Asset Management solutions, with responsibility for, understanding business requirements, documenting and assessment of as-is business process flows, documentation and validation of requirements with the client.

Responsibilities include:
• Lead functional or technical track of with respect to service and asset management solutions. This may include translation of business requirements into functional and technology requirements, implementation of technical designs, training of end-users in the use of the technology by mapping business/functional requirements to the functionality provided in the tool etc.
• Work with project team to establish roles and responsibilities. Assist in managing client and project team expectations.
• Develop creative solutions to IT lifecycle issues.
• Assist in the development of detailed project plans.
• Assist in the development of responses to proposals and subsequent statements of work.
• Help the practice identify new opportunities for business development.
• Maintain and develop practice collateral such as methodologies, sales briefs, project qualifications, customer-facing presentations and industry whitepapers.

Requirements:
• Understanding of technologies and architecture in the service (incident, problem, change, request, configuration) and financial asset (contract, procurement, portfolio, fixed asset reconciliation) management areas.
• Expertise in Peregrine Software (AssetCenter, ServiceCenter, Connect.It, OAA, Enterprise Discovery) or Computer Associates product suites is a requirement.
• Understanding of IT finance (chargebacks, forecasting, contracts, etc.)
• Knowledge of ITIL or other industry best-practice guidelines. ITIL Foundations certification or greater is a plus.
• Experience in asset and service management solutions including system integration with data sources such as Peregrine, PeopleSoft, SAP, Remedy, LDAP and auto-discovery tools.
• Overall 2-4 years of experience in the IT asset/service provider, or IT finance environments.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work with independently with minimum supervision.
• BA degree.
• Must be willing to travel-75%
