Federal Consultant - IT Auditor

Job Description: BearingPoint, Inc. (NYSE-BE) is one of the world's largest business consulting and systems integration firms dedicated to aligning business and systems to empower Global 2000 companies and government organizations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Seeking experienced candidates to maintain compliance with IT controls in support of large government agency audit requirements. This resource would also support IT process improvement efforts.

Successful candidate will:

*Maintain documentation of controls (policies, procedures, etc.)
*Review and revise controls to meet regulatory requirements for payment processing.
*Develop and execute an internal IT audit plan to assure audit compliance
*Participate with external auditors during formal audits
*Report and track exceptions detected during audits
*Assist in the continuous improvement of IT processes

REQUIREMENTS
*US Citizenship required
*Bachelor's degree
*Experience in the Information Technology field, IT auditing; Big Four experience a plus.
*Understanding of IT control frameworks and in-depth familiarity with industry accepted standards
*Strong analytical and organizational skills
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Self starter and capable of working independently

PREFERRED SKILLS
*CISA, CISM, CPA, CIA and/or CISSP certification
*Familiarity with FISCAM/NIST standards and guidance
*Regulatory compliance experience, such as Sarbanes-Oxley

Candidates must have the ability to accommodate a Monday-Friday travel schedule
