Federal Practice-Risk Mgmt Sr Associates

Job Description -- PricewaterhouseCoopers' Washington Federal Practice is currently looking for Senior Associates with strong Risk Management backgrounds. Successful applicant will have the opportunity to serve as part of a team of professionals delivering quality service to a variety of Federal Government clients.

This position will be assigned to the Operational Resilience practice and will perform risk assessments on a variety of modalities including critical infrastructure, IT systems, physical facilities, etc. This individual must be able to demonstrate experience in assessing risk and applying mechanisms to reduce or mitigate risk. This individual would preferably have experience conducting business risk assessments as well as government risk assessments and be thoroughly familiar with identifying threats and vulnerabilities and conducting quantitative as well as qualitative assessments.

BS Degree in Physical or Social Science (Risk Management), advanced degree and or post graduate training is preferred.

Job Requirement Essential

Individual should have three to eight years of experience conducting risk assessments, preferably from both a business and government risk perspective. The individual should be able to demonstrate the breadth and depth of experience in identifying threats and vulnerabilities, threat agents, determining asset valuation, conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses and determining and implementing appropriate countermeasures.

The individual selected will work in the Operational Resilience practice supporting government clients in developing a risk management strategy for critical infrastructure, facilities and organizations. BS/BA degree with at least three to eight years of progressively increasing experience conducting risk assessments in an operational, strategic or financial environment.

Amount of Travel: At this time the travel will be minimal and primarily around the Washington, DC area.

Clearance Requirement: Minimum active SECRET, however TOP SECRET is preferred.
