PLATO currently has an opening for a Field Consulting Manager within our Professional Services group to work within our corporate headquarters in Bloomington, MN.

 

The Field Consulting Manager directs the development and effectiveness of the Services processes, policies, and procedures in the areas of Services operations, customer effectiveness, and field support.  Additional responsibilities for this position are as follows:

? Manage deployment processes of Services staff to client engagements.

? Maintain list of clients and partner and manager assignments.

? Manage the Annual Review, promotion and compensation process.  Review all files and proposed classification, ratings and promotion for each group based upon performance specific feedback and non-engagement activities and achievements.

? Defines Services communication standards, policies, and processes

? Designs, implements and manages Services management system

? Leads Services management team in defining, building and managing Services business metrics and performance scorecard

? Responsible for ongoing process improvement initiatives and works with field employees on a regular basis to identify key business process needs

? Co-Project manages the development of Services credentialing program

? Manages services support department and oversees all reporting and administrative support to the Services field employees

? Manages variable staffing model and directs processes and communication for variable employees

? Participates in policy-making committees and communicates decisions to the services organization

? Assists Services management with business planning and implementation efforts

? Facilitates cross-functional decision-making as needed

? Responsible for budget management as assigned

 

The qualifications we are seeking for this position will include the following:

? Bachelor?s degree

? Combined experience of 5-7 years in the areas of strategic and operations planning and implementation efforts, consulting, training and development, sales and process improvement.

? Experience in education industry helpful.

? Increasingly responsible workforce management positions.

? Prior direct consultative selling experience helpful.

? Functional knowledge of all key business functions:  Sales, Marketing, Development, Finance and Operations.

? Ability to develop and manage cross-organizational working relationships and drive change.

? Ability to effectively facilitate cross-functional decisions.

? Ability to translate business strategy into functional operations and continuously improve/re-engineer them.

? Excellent project and process management skills.

? Knowledge of internal communications technology systems.
