Field Geologist

Haley & Aldrich is a leading consulting firm that specializes in underground engineering, environmental science, and environmental management consulting.  We serve private and public clients nationally and internationally from 16 offices across the U. S.

Field Geologist positions are currently available in Dayton and Cleveland, Ohio and in Detroit, Michigan.

Successful candidates will work with project engineering or environmental teams on site assessments, site investigations, and construction; conduct soil and groundwater sampling for remedial investigations; and provide technical support for groundwater remediation systems, pump tests, slug tests, test boring monitoring, rock and soil identification, and geologic cross sections. This position requires work outdoors up to 12 months a year.

A Bachelor's degree in Geology or related discipline is required, with 0 to 2 years of experience and proficiency with MSWord and MS Excel software. OSHA 40-hr. HAZWOPER training is preferred.
