Finance Process Improvement - Manager

Job Description -- PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Advisory group delivers comprehensive client services related to transactions, performance improvement and crisis management. As part of the Advisory group, the Finance Effectiveness team leverages capabilities to solve critical market issues impacting CFOs today. The Finance Effectiveness mission is to advise CFO?s and assist their organizations to gain timely, cost effective access to accurate financial and operational information, transforming internal finance organizations from being purely transactional, to playing a more strategic and critical performance management role. The current focus is to help CFOs reduce complexity by focusing on:

? Improving Internal and External reporting
? People and Organization structure
? Strengthening Performance Management, Budgeting and Forecasting Capabilities
? Optimizing Cash Flow and the Use of Capital
? Building and Maintaining Cost Effective Controls

PricewaterhouseCoopers? Finance Effectiveness team has opportunities for Managers to deliver client services in the area of performance management, budgeting, consolidations, and reporting.

Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration; MBA or MA/MS in a related field is a plus

Job Requirement Essential

The ideal Senior Associate candidate will have 7+ years of experience and a strong background in performance and process improvement: simplifying processes, reducing costs, managing operational risk, and decreasing cycle times.

Additional experience may include:
? Financial accounting software packages
? Business intelligence tools such as Hyperion, ComShare, GEAC
? Internal controls
? Project management for large/complex engagements
? Consulting and client services
? Client relationship management
? Proposal and sales process
? Team supervision and performance management
? Implementation and change managemen

The ideal candidate will also have a background in consulting and client services. In addition, excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to multi-task, and a strong professional presence are required.
