GHRS HR Effectiveness, Director

Job Description -- PwC's Human Resource Effectiveness Practice (HRE) assists large employers with improving the performance of the HR organization. This includes improving the delivery (administration) of HR programs, aligning HR strategy and people strategies with business strategies, streamlining and standardizing HR policies, practices and processes, transforming the HR organization to be more effective in managing human capital and supporting the business units.

This is a new role in our New York office. The primary responsibility of this key role will be to grow market presence in the NY Metro and national area, support NY Metro and national practitioners in identifying and developing sales opportunities, deploying and managing staff.

Major Responsibilities:

- Development of new business opportunities with a revenue goal of $1 million
- Participation in NY office, regional, and national cross functional marketing and sales initiatives
- Development and mentoring of HRE staff particularly the NY Metro resources
- Support of national HRE initiatives including new product development
- Management of client engagements of $1 -$1.5 million including:
- Evaluation of provider services and fees
- Facilitation of client meetings to share knowledge of the marketplace trends including HR BPO, shared services, and cosourced delivery models
- Assessment of program design and administrative procedures
- Assistance in streamlining and processes relating to program administration
- Assist clients in building business strategy, search and selection for new service providers, and transition to new provider
- Assist in contract development/negotiations and key performance metrics
- Preparation and delivery of client presentations

Education Required

BS, BBA, BA degree required. MBA, MS preferred.
The individual who fills this role must be credentialed by either SHRM, American Payroll Association, CEBS, or similar credentialing program.


Job Requirement Essential
-------------------------
- 12+ years of relevant experience (consulting firm experience highly preferred) with administration and technical aspects of HR, benefits, and employee benefit programs either as a service provider, plan sponsor, or consultant.
- Ability to coordinate and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Demonstrated ability to manage time and multiple commitments
- Demonstrated ability to initiate, monitor, and close engagements through the sales and marketing process
- Ability to manage people
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communications competencies
- Experience with ERP applications related to HR
