Job Summary:

The GM Operations will work closely with the Chief Learning Officer and other RL GMs to formulate and execute business strategies.

 

The GM Operations will manage:

? Delivery of classes worldwide through Resolute Learning?s innovative distance learning model.

? Business operations to include business modeling, revenue projections, utilization tracking, pipeline, P&L accounting, and invoicing.

? RL internal and external workflow processes and procedures.

? RL marketing.

? RL metrics.

? RL resource pool.

 

The GM Operations will interface with the Resolute?s product development team to ensure that the distance learning delivery engine meets business strategy objectives. The GM Operations will also interface with the hosting agency into ensure smooth and uninterrupted service for classes.

Key Functions:

? Establish operating policies and procedures consistent with our company?s business strategies and objectives and ensure their execution.

? In coordination with other RL GMs, manage accounting for pipeline, monthly and quarterly revenue projects and expenses.

? Manage RL invoicing.

? Provide business modeling expertise to assist in costing projects and activities.

? Manage the worldwide class delivery and drive economies and efficiencies in class delivery.

? In coordination with other RL GMs, manage the marketing function within RL.

? Track and report on RL metrics.

? Assemble and maintain a resource pool of suitable candidates both contractor and potential hires so that RL can respond quickly to resourcing requirements.

? Collaborate with and monitor development efforts associated with the delivery engine.

? Collaborate with and monitor hosting services.

? Provide leadership for the operations team.

? Maintain excellent customer satisfaction.

? Develop and implement procedures and controls to promote communication and adequate information flow within the team and organization.

? Evaluate and report the results of overall operations regularly and systematically.

Secondary Tasks:

? Ensure that all organization activities and operations are carried out in compliance with the laws governing business operations.

? Establish operating policies to ensure adequate management development and to provide for capable management succession.

? Offer guidance to direct management in development, production, and promotion of our overall services.

Qualifications:

? Must be a professional of unquestionable integrity, credibility, and character who has demonstrated high moral and ethical behavior.

? Experience managing a profit and loss center.

? Extensive manager-level operational experience. (5 - 10+ years)

? Experience in the technology sector, plus specific knowledge of the Microsoft product line and software development.

? Strong project and people-management skills required.

? Customer-oriented attitude and excellent interpersonal skills required.

? BSCS, MSCS, MBA preferred.

? Experience within the corporate training or learning environment a plus.

? Expert in the use of Excel and other familiarity with business management and modeling applications.

Reporting:

? This position reports to the Chief Learning Officer of Resolute.

? The GM Operations will be expected to create a staff as necessary.

? Works closely in a lateral relationship with other RL and Resolute General Managers.
