HR Consultant

Shell Oil Company is currently seeking HR Consultants for openings in Houston, Texas and multiple locations in Louisiana.

Responsibilities:

In this position, you will be responsible for providing the full range of strategic and operational HR support to operations in the Americas region and participating in the global HR community. You will provide Generalist HR support.

Key Accountabilities Include:
Delivering generalist HR support to Managers and Employees within the client groups (includes general Employee Relations issues)
Communicating and implementing HR processes and programs (i.e. Rating & Appraisal, Merit, Compensation, etc.) for client group
Participating on client group leadership teams
Coordinating activities with other HR professionals for service delivery and implementation
Engaging employees and managers on staff consultation issues
Developing and implementing appropriate resourcing strategies for the client groups
Supporting business change and the management of organizational implications
Delivering HR advice and support ensure appropriate level input direct to leaders in the USA and globally and their direct reports
Developing and enhancing the skill pool
Delivering high quality HR solutions in a challenging environment
Working effectively in a globally structured organization

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you must possess a Bachelor?s degree (Masters degree preferred) and approximately 5-8 years of HR Advisor experience. You must have a strong generalist HR background with an emphasis on innovation and analysis. You must be able to demonstrate ability to build strong relationships with all levels of the organization. You must have a willingness to work in a variety of Shell businesses that may require mobility.
