Our consultants are working on health plan strategy and strategic planning in the health insurance products area that involves the development, design and implementation of product based solutions.? We are seeking Senior Manager level consultants with
health plan insurance product strategy, including new HMO and PPO product development, and Medicare Managed Care, Medicare Advantage and related Medicare products consistent with the Medicare Modernization Act.? We work with our client organizations to determine market and customer needs, developed detailed design of product features, create new product business cases, ensure compliance with regulations, and prepare product financials, conducting product forecasting, filing with state and federal agencies, and preparing marketing strategies.??

As the health plan industry continues to evolve, we are working with the leading organizations in this dynamic market to drive innovative approaches and solutions across the value chain of sales and distribution channels; pricing and risk management; care decision support; customer care; medical management; network management; claims management and membership, and provider contract management.? Our Senior Managers are responsible for all the following:
- Engagement Management:? managing engagement risk, project economics including planning and budgeting, managing accounts receivable, defines deliverable content, ensures buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client
- Business Development: develops and maintains contact with top decision makers at key clients, organizes and leads pursuit teams, participating and leading aspects of the proposal development process, contributes to proposal pricing strategy.
- Practice Development & Eminence: development of solutions and methodologies, development of "thoughtware" and "point-of-view" documents, public speaking and publication in industry periodicals.
- People Development: performs role of counselor and coach, provides input and guidance into the firms staffing process, and actively participates in staff recruitment and retention activities.
Qualified candidates will possess an undergraduate degree and preferably an advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) and 10 or
more years of consulting management industry experience with a large management consulting firm working in the health plan industry space.? Relevant industry experience is a must with recent experience in developing new business models, leading critical meetings with senior leadership connected with major product development projects, and directing and leading strategic initiatives for health plan organizations.? Product Development experience with Medicare related products is strongly preferred.
