Deloitte's Medical Management and Pharmacy Solution is a comprehensive approach that incorporates multiple components of a Health Plan's operations to help client organizations assess their medical management strategies and practices and their impact on medical and pharmacy costs.? We evaluate medical management interventions on employers, members and providers, and also evaluate the impact of medical management strategy on the Health Plan's market position.
?A?Senior Consultant?with experience in consulting will manage and deliver large, complex client engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business solutions and technology solutions for large health care providers including hospitals and physician practices. ??The Senior Conultant level job description includes providing service excellence by
identifying key client business issues, determining client needs by supplementing the standard assessment techniques and tools with innovative approaches, evaluating and validating analysis and recommendations of the engagement team in context of the total engagement.? Implements and oversees quality of deliverables and manages the team effectively to ensure exceptional performance and Senior Consultants day-to-day client relationships.??Senior Consultants participate in the development and presentation of proposals for business development activities.??Senior Consultants?manage small engagements or components of large, complex engagements
Requirements include deep understanding of the business processes that support large insurers including medical management, claims administration, membership and billing.? Prior experience with utilization and/or case management, development and implementation of disease management solutions, Medicare compliance and related health plan operations management are ideal
.? A qualified candidate has a undergraduate degree in business or clinical (RN or Pharm D) and a MBA and 5+ years of industry and consulting experience in payer and/or managed care operations including medical management.? Clinicians with experience in this expertise are encouraged to apply.
