Health & Welfare Analyst (51488)

Description Works closely with Benefits Analyst and/or Benefits Consultant to ensure tasks associated with technical issues (including systems, legislative, and operations control) are performed in a timely and accurate manner. Assists in the definition, development and maintenance of project and system requirements, technical specifications, and test plans. Work with other internal groups to prepare test plans to support technical infrastructure testing, data interfaces in/out of the system, employee communications, employee tools (IVR, web, account inquiry screens and/or PeopleSoft), and client reporting. Write/execute queries to retrieve/manage data, and prepare/edit jobs to analyze data.

Supervises daily activities of up to 3 team members and provides feedback to Implementation Lead or Implementation Manager. May develop working relationships with the client, third party vendors and/or ancillary service providers and other internal parties to ensure seamless delivery on specific tasks, special projects and/or participant issues. Owns processes and identifies and assists in the execution of improvement opportunities. Assists Benefits Consultant and Imp Lead/Manager in working with the Operations group to ensure transition of processes for new or existing clients or new products occurs seamlessly.
Education and Typical Years of Experience Bachelor?s Degree with strong academic record 2 -5 years experience in plan administration Knowledge of legislative issues affecting plans Strong analytical ability SQL skills Excellent verbal and written communications skills Project management skills including the ability to juggle projects and manage to deadlines  Special Requirements Also considering positions in the Chicago, Illinois area.
