Description Support the following in relation to Data Management services:

? client/vendor relationship management
- status, project, and issues reporting
? work request management
- estimating and planning projects
- defining resource requirements
? project management
- detailed project planning
- managing milestones, tasks, issues
? client-specific and process-specific knowledge management
- managing business requirements and process documentation, as well as data dictionaries
? issues management
- performing data analysis/research to resolve issues
? technical research and analysis
- utilizing available tools to analyse data
? discovery and requirements gathering
- creating and maintaining documentation
? acceptance testing
- creating, maintaining, and executing test plans
? production operations
- documenting procedures and controls
- managing escalated problems/issues
- defining and maintaining job scheduling requirements
- ensuring client deliverables and service level agreements are met
- preparing metric reports
? data manipulation and preparation
- utilizing available tools to extract, to manipulate, and to load data

Education and Typical Years of Experience ? Education: Bachelor?s degree or equivalent in relevant work experience ? Completion of Data Management classroom training curriculum. ? Completion and mastery of process-specific training curriculum.  Special Requirements Other related requirements: ? develop and maintain simple to complex business requirements documents, technical specifications, test plans, and systems requirements documents in relation to the focus areas above ? create process documentation and training materials for transitioning work to Production Operations team ? coordinate project activities with internal business partners ? identify and own execution of process improvement opportunities ? for more senior staff, train junior team members individually and in classroom setting ? for more senior staff, supervise daily activities for up to 5 staff members ? ability to coordinate, organize, and prioritize work ? ability to prepare and to maintain written procedures (in English) ? ability to work under direct supervision and to select from a variety of established procedures to accomplish assigned tasks ? ability to work with data by understanding data structures, data relationships, and principles of data analysis ? proficient in understanding end-to-end process flows and the functional inter-relationships ? ability to develop expertise in client-specific domain knowledge ? strong communication skills, including English proficiency in reading, writing, listening, and speaking, especially in communication with internal clients, external clients, and external vendors ? strong project management skills ? strong time management skills ? strong analytical ability ? strong problem solving skills ? attention to detail ? strong mainframe and personal computer skills (including Microsoft Word/Excel/Access, SQL queries, UNIX scripts)  Benefits Also considering Chicago based candidates
