EMPATH Consulting Inc. is a leading healthcare consulting company specializing in operations change management.  We spearhead broad-scale operational transformation projects at hospitals and multi-hospital systems, introducing new information technology and dashboard delivery systems, specializing in Emergency Departments, Peri-Operative Services, and Inpatient Units.


We are seeking  full time Senior Healthcare Consultants with a proven track record in operational improvement to join our project team at different client hospital sites throughout the country.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

 Learning EMPATH?s unique and proprietary methodologies for healthcare operational transformation Ensuring successful completion of project deliverables

? Working  closely in partnership with the Project Manager in running client meetings, training and monitoring hospital staff.

?  Providing consistent flawless work product under the supervision of the Project ManagerPeri-operative, inpatient  and/or Emergency Department consultingMentoring the Staff Consultant in work product for learning delivery systems, dashboard delivery systems, real time monitoring systems, and change management  under the supervision of the Project ManagerDefining the consulting model required for EMPATHWork with the Project Manager to analyze current process and propose change to existing systemsInteracting with all levels of the client management team to ensure successful completion of the project.Monitor actual performance against schedule

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

?  5-6 years Executive level Healthcare consulting experience  

?  Expert knowledge of Peri-Operative Services, inpatient, or emergency departments and process improvement

?  Extensive experience in managing clients and large scale complex work flow redesign projects

?  Relevant experience working on a consulting engagement, which utilizes methodologies and metrics similar to EMPATH projects

?  Excellent communication skills: Writing, interviewing, persuading, selling and presenting.

?  Ability to multi-task and constantly prioritize and organize

?  Ability to generate, analyze, and interpret complex data and concepts

?  External consulting and/or Project Management, or RN leadership experience preferred

 

 

 

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTSBA,  Business or Healthcare Administration from an  accredited collegeMaster?s Degree in a healthcare field (MPH, MPA, MBA, or equivalent) preferred

 

STRONG COMPUTER SKILLS REQUIREDMS Word MS Excel MS PowerPoint. MS AccessVisio

 

v  Expect 80% travel during project duration.

v  Work is Mon-Thursday at client site, and Friday from home.

v  Relocation is NOT required for this position.

v  Expenses to and from the client site, car rental, etc. will be reimbursed, in addition to a per diem.
