ITIL Master (Financial Services experience preferred)

Job Description: BearingPoint is looking for a consultant with the ITIL Practitioner or ITIL Master certification. Additional requirements include experience deploying Enterprise network Services management SW products such as HP Openview, CA's ESM, EMC's Smarts, Micromuse NetCool, BMC Remedy, Concord e-Health, Peregrine, Tivoli etc and familiarity with best in class practices for all ESM disciplines. Financial services experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for the management and direction of multiple consulting projects or a single large and complex project. Has additional responsibility for building and maintaining a client base. Manages overall relationships with clients and has frequent and direct contact with the most senior level executives of the client. Requires the highest level of project management and consulting skills. Identifies and pursues business opportunities with potential and existing clients. Shares practice management and performance management responsibilities including the overall management of project teams and development and review of staff.


Must be an ITIL Master and have professional consulting experience using this certification.

Must have at least 5 years of experience managing key aspects of an a IT operational environment.

Must have 3 years experience in the financial services industry, knowledge of FS clients and technology vendor communities

Must have 5 years of consulting experience; previous "Big 5" consulting experience a plus.

1-2 years of sales experience is also required.

Must be able to articulate verbally and in document form work products at all levels of organizational hierarchy.

Excellent articulation (written and oral) at both the operations and executive level management; high proficiency level in MS Office productivity tools including:
o Word: proposal development, documentation, requirements, methodology, plans, etc.
o PowerPoint: presentations, value propositions, etc.
o Project: planning, scheduling, budgeting, etc.
o Excel/Access: quantitative analysis including financials, ROI, asset tracking, etc.

Understanding of financial services technology product life cycle, including front, middle and back office business, operations and infrastructure issues

Knowledge of technology impact and issues in a financial services company context

Prior experience with financial/practice management and metrics in a consulting group

Prior project management and control; ability to articulate these best practices

Team-oriented and ability to manage cross-functional project teams (including non-technical personnel)

Ability to think out of the box and adapt/learn quickly

Ability to work with little direction from senior management
