Position Information

 

The Implementation Consultant is an individual with solid accounting and/or software background combined with a desire to work with ?Global 2000? customers who are utilizing our client's products and services to expand and improve their capabilities to meet today?s CPM challenges.Consultants work directly with customers during the implementation process to consult in the design, building, testing and knowledge transfer of a wide range of financial analysis and reporting tools. 

 

The full-time position consists of project work. The typical implementation project is 3-5 months in duration.  Travel is required 60-80%.  Communication, organization and leadership skills are a must.  Experience with software implementations a plus. 

 

Qualifications

 

? Bachelor?s degree in accounting, MIS or related field plus equivalent work experience

? 3 years of industry experience implementing CPM and / or finance ERP solutions in a large company environment

? Demonstrated solid communication skills and ability to work independently in a dynamic environment

Responsibilities

 

? Work at the direction of senior Client Services staff on customer projects

? Setup and configure components of customer solutions

? Communicate with the project team (both Longview and customer) in a professional manner

? Provide mentoring and guidance to customer project staff

? Demonstrate professionalism and solid consulting skills

 Expectations

 

? A willingness and ability for extended periods of travel (up to 80%)

? Ability to learn rapidly and with limited guidance
