This position offers an individual the opportunity to work with A.T. Kearney Procurement Solutions, an industry leader, well recognized and respected in the procurement consulting field.  The Instructional Designer/Trainer will have the opportunity to assist and guide a diverse base of clients while delivering and designing the training curriculum. 

 Essential Function & Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will collaborate with members of ATKPS to:Analyze, design and develop web-based, live, paper-based, and blended training solutions for procurement processes and technologies. Facilitate user training and train-the-trainer sessions on process and procurement technologies.  Provide training on newly developed courseware.Develop designs and specifications for updates as well as new materials. Materials may be instructor-led, self-study, computer-based or web-based, and will also include related instructor guides, train-the-trainer materials, peer evaluations and certification tests.Quarterly, or semi-annually, update course materials based on product releases, new functionality and feedback from clients and trainers. Perform and coordinate developmental testing on instructional modules developed by self and other instructional developers. Communicate documentation changes to appropriate customers (internal/external). Certify users in technology in support of I.S.M.Develop, implement, revise and manage Quality Survey process.

 Experience / Skills / Abilities & Essential Qualifications:

?   Bachelor?s degree in Instructional Design, Professional/Technical Communications, English, Education or equivalent relevant experience

? At least 3 years experience analyzing, designing and developing paper-based and web-based training solutions.

? Strong knowledge of instructional design and development methodologies.

? Experience using Net Objects Fusion, Trainersoft, Macromedia Flash & Coursebuilder, Microsoft Office to develop paper-based and web-based learning solutions

? Technical writing experience including the documentation of technical products.

? Experience applying adult learning theories to instructor-led or online training solutions.

? Experience with and thorough understanding of the entire I.S.D process for implementing training.

? Experience developing learning exercises and student labs for paper-based training solutions and/or experience developing interactive learning exercises including simulations and incorporation of external media into web-based training solutions.

? Experience designing and developing training solutions in multiple modalities, using multiple development tools a plus.

? Experience implementing training scenarios through media such as Netmeeting, Imeeting or Placeware.

? Ability to communicate effectively, gain credibility and develop productive relationships with members of the Firm and clients at all levels.

? Ability to approach situations with energy and enthusiasm.

? Excellent analytical and communication (both oral and written) skills.

? Proven ability to set priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

? Ability to function in a fast-paced environment, under substantial time pressure, supporting world timezones.

? Team-oriented individual who shows initiative and demonstrates flexibility.

? Solid understanding of procurement process and strategic sourcing
