Interest Rate Derivatives Project Manager

My Client, a Global Investment Bank has recently requested that I identify a Strong Interest Rate Derivatives experience Project Manager for a very high-profile project currently taking place in their environment.  This person will take on the responsibility of leading the development of a strategic solution to inflation products for emerging markets globally. 

 

Responsibilities:Project  planning Stakeholder managementRisk & Issue tracking/resolution.Inter-project and intra-project task estimation and dependenciesProject control ? scope, change management, deadlines and qualitySenior management updatesProject reportingManagement of a small team of BA?s and developersMatrix Project management of larger workstreamsEnsure all work meets prescribed standards in design and quality.Ensure compliance with Barclays Capital approval and control procedures for application access.Document all work

Required Experience:Previous front office based development project for an investment Bank8+ year?s investment bank/ consultancy experience.  This should include the following aspects: Full appreciation of development lifecycle Project Management of small / medium sized projectsStakeholder management and presentations Problem Analysis - ability to breakdown and logically display the problem and the conceptual problemGAP AnalysesRequirements interpretation ? understand and justify cost/benefitStrong knowledge of Microsoft ProjectUnderstanding of different technologies and usesProject budgeting
