International Benefits Analyst

An International Benefits Analyst helps design, review and implement benefits programs, including retirement, savings, healthcare and other perquisites programs. To fulfill this role, the International Benefits Analyst will:
Prepare, review, analyze and make recommendations regarding multi-country benefits, perks and total compensation, including social security, labor and tax regulations Evolve to manage client relationships on FAS and IAS consolidation of reportingHelp manage multi-country client relationships Assist in the global retirement financial management (accounting, design, investment and funding) of non-
US material defined benefit plans
Assist in mergers, acquisition and divestiture activity Assist in providing advice to clients or other Mercer consultants on international employee transfers Design local and international pension, healthcare and other benefits and perks plans Design and conduct analysis on multinational and foreign benefit practices and programs, including HR policies, multinational pooling, global broking and self-insured programs Support marketing, client management, client development and any other office and unit initiatives Evolve to conduct presentations to clients, forums or other business related issues.
Minimum of BA/BS degree in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, economics, finance or business At least one year of experience with a large consulting firm or three or more years' relevant experience, preferably in a consulting environment Actuarial student required International experience preferred but not required Superior skills in benefits (retirement, healthcare, group benefits, flexible benefits, etc.) and total compensation strategies, as well as proficiency in project management and staff development Excellent oral and written communications skills; strong interpersonal skills Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Access) Excellent analytical, organizational and planning skills; detail orientation.
