Job Description:

We are currently offering three (3) Investor Relations (IR) positions in our New York office -- Senior IR Associate, Entry-level IR Associate and Retail IR Associate.

We are looking for strategic thinkers with a track record of delivering exceptional client service.  All Associates will implement effective programs in Investor Relations and Financial Communications, targeting investment centers in North America, the UK, continental Europe, and Asia.

Responsibilities for Senior IR Associate and Entry-level IR Associate include:Advise and guide international client base to broaden investor interest.Organize investor visits and presentationsDaily interaction with buy and sell side communityAdvise members of (client) Senior Management Prepare briefing materials, financial presentations, and pitch documentsEvent planning and logistics Research on the financial markets Gather market feedback Edit and issue press releases Transmit understanding of the US capital markets to various client audiences

 

Responsibilities for Retail IR Associate include any of the above with a focus on:

 Researching grassroots retail opportunities: retail investor conferences, speaking opportunities, affinity groups, cultural or sports sponsorships Coordinating client conference participation, including display and distribution material development and production Assisting client on-site at investor conferences Advertorial editing and placement coordination in retail-focused publications Liaising with analysts and retail sales coordinators on a regular basis Canvassing analysts and retail sales coordinators for client retail box positions Researching options for client giveaways and coordinating production

 

Job Requirements: Bachelor?s degree (non-specific) For Senior IR Associate:  3+ years experience in an IR consultancy or on a Corporate IR team, Supervisory experience a plus Strong understanding of the equity markets and their impact on a company?s stock price/valuation Be able to work independently and complete projects with limited supervision, as well as to work as a member of a team.  Ability to meet deadlines Pro-active and self-motivated.  Proven ability to problem-solve Strong and effective decision-making skills.  Leadership potential Excellent interpersonal & verbal / written communication skills Can-do attitude, dependable, innovative, and energetic Additional language fluency a plus Confident and professional in phone communication Proficiency in Microsoft Office ? particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
