Job Duties include but are not limited to the following:Provide detail design documentation, development, unit testing and maintenance of internally developed applications and externally purchased software products Write code for system designs that span platformsCode to and create Application Programming Interfaces (APIs)Write detailed technical specifications for subsystems and identify integration pointsEstimate project timelines and resources required to complete programming projects Perform unit testing and debugging and set test conditions based on code specifications Support application throughout the Product Development life cycle Review and conduct vendor research and product gap analysis comparison
Job Requirements: 5-7 years of writing java codeHealthcare Industry knowledge preferredKnowledge of System Development Life Cycle, product development methodologies, database methodologies and system integration Demonstrated experience with operating systems Knowledge of coding design, documentation protocol, unit testing, change management and release procedures Demonstrated experience using RAD or WSAD 5.0 debugging toolsDemonstrated experience using Clear Case versioning toolsDemonstrated experience using report-writing toolsIBM websphere 5.1 Portal experience IBM Websphere Application server 5.0 experienceAdvanced Experience with RUP methodology and rational tools
Experience developing web based services and SQA
Experienced applying J2EE security, Concurrency, Transactions, Session Management, J2EE Patterns, and Frameworks to application solutions Understanding of J2EE, MQ Series, IBM WSAD or RAD, Apache Struts, Unix Shell Scripting, Database, Db2, SQL, HTML, JavaScript and XML technologies
