Lead Architect/Developer --LIMS

The BearingPoint Life Sciences Team is currently searching for a Senior Consultant who has experience in integrating Chromatography systems with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) for a Pharmaceutical or Biotech organization.

A qualified candidate will have years of experience architecting and implementing integrations between a chromatography systems and a laboratory information management systems. Candidates will have experience creating the following deliverables for the integration:
Design and configuration of the chromatography and LIMS systems for the interface
Logical and physical architecture design for both systems
Data mapping between both systems
Developing the business process flow between systems
Hands on configuration experience with both systems

Specific experience with configuring and integrating Waters Empower / Millennium and Lab Ware LIMS is strongly preferred.

Excellent client interfacing skills
Strong technical and business knowledge of the solution


Typical engagement lifecycle mimics the SDLC (requirements, design, development, testing, validation, deployment).
This candidate will participate as the primary architect and developer to implement the interface and will be involved in each step of the SDLC.

The candidate will work with the client during requirements gathering, design meetings, and system integration testing.

The candidate will work through the BearingPoint project manager to present ideas and recommendations.


Technical & functional requirements
3 to 5 years of technical experience implementing and integration Chromatography systems (preferably Waters Empower/Millennium

80% travel for candidates who are not local to North/Central New Jersey area
Some international travel may be required
