Lean Six Sigma Consultant

IBM Global Business Services is seeking a Lean / Six Sigma Consultant with knowledge and experience in executing Lean and Six Sigma techniques in the supply chain. The successful candidate will have demonstrated skills in inventory analysis and improvement strategies, pull systems, value stream mapping and analysis, value add analysis, KANBAN's, supermarkets, replenishment, constraint analysis, or quick tool changeover. Experience with 5 S, poke yoke, sequencing, sku rationalization, VMI, WIP balancing techniques, measurements, SPC, quality improvement methodology, DMAIC process, variability analysis and reduction, training of lean techniques, systematic deployment approach of Lean pull system, communication, and change management would also be ideal.

The Lean/Six Sigma Consultant will lead assessments of manufacturing operations and key supply chain linkages, as well as lead deployment of Lean principles and pull system designs. This would include application of assessment techniques and Lean techniques as determined improve cost. Since most of our work is performed at client sites, this position requires up to 100% travel.
