IBM Global Business Services is seeking Consultants w/strong knowledge of logistics process & operations, software & understanding of Fed. Gov't (i.e. DoD) transportation & distribution processes. Role focuses on logistics business transformation activities in client consulting environment. May take a strategic or tactical view of a company's logistics functions. Work proactively w/clients to refine current business capabilities, in the form of process, information technology, organization enablement, or knowledge. ID best practices & client performance gaps. Use tools to ID, align, & change factors that affect performance, stability, & teaming & develop
comprehensive transformation recommendations. Responsible for leading team in Logistics transformation work, maintaining work plan & managing risk associated w/work plan. A four year degree and/or related experience is required for this position. Major Field of Study: Operations Analytics, Logistics, Transportation or related field Team lead experience.
