MPHRO Analyst Experienced/Advanced Analy

Description:
Hewitt's HR Delivery Solutions include a wide range of expanded delivery services, from HR portal solutions to workforce administration to recruiting and staffing, for end-to-end solutions that enable HR to play a more strategic role in the business.

HR Delivery is looking for an On-going/Implementation Analyst to join our growing team. Primary responsibilities are grouped into the following categories:

ANALYSIS OF REQUIREMENTS - Participate on a team that is responsible for gathering the clients' existing HRIS policies, and procedures. On-going/Implementation Analyst has an understanding of Hewitt's leading practices of HR delivery & design. This knowledge is applied by contributing to the creation of the client specific requirements documents.


SYSTEM TESTING - Document test plans based on system specifications. For this, he or she runs system testing, and documents all final outcomes. This documentation is used to analyze or confirm results if future discrepancies arise.

ONGOING SUPPORT - When part of an ongoing client team, monitor the ongoing quality of processing, troubleshoots problems that arise, and identifies ways to improve the efficiency of processing and the system. You will have ongoing interaction with client contacts or other third parties involved in the maintenance of a particular HR program.

IMPLEMENTATION - Work closely with the Requirements Consultant to define requirements and process flow. He or she may also be involved in the initial training of the team, including technical resources, Service Center content creation, and training delivery. On-going/Implementation Analysts will significantly contribute to the system configuration and integration testing and assist system analyst in developing application specifications.

SUBJECT-MATTER EXPERT - Act as a subject matter expert (knowledge resource) for the team on such topics as process flows, data models, content requirements, integration with the other functional areas (e.g. conversion, interfaces and reporting), processing procedures, application on business objectives, client-specific topics, and alternatives for service delivery.

CLIENT INTERFACING - Work with the Requirements Consultant on educating the client on ongoing administration. He or she also works with the client as the subject matter expert with regard to the rollout.

Qualifications:
--1-2+ years relevant experience in delivering technology based solutions in the HR space
--Previous experience as a Business Analyst or previous testing experience a plus
--Understanding of leading HR practices and HR delivery models
--Functional and technical understanding of HRMS systems (SAP, Lawson, PeopleSoft)
--Working knowledge of service center operations preferred
--HR regulatory and legislative knowledge
--Understanding of the software development life-cycle, and ability to operate effectively within the process
--Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
--Familiar with process mapping and integration testing
--Relational database experience preferred, design experience a plus
--Demonstrated adaptability and flexibility
--Ability to work in an ambiguous environment
--Focus on continuous improvement
--Ability to solve problems
--Demonstrated project planning and execution
--Ability to work collaboratively
--Strong written and verbal communication skills
--Demonstrated client knowledge and responsiveness
--BA/BS preferred. A major in an analytical field is desired
