Manager - IT Architect/Business Continuity

JOB DESCRIPTION
This position will require an IT Architect to lead Business Continuity/Continuity of Operations/Disaster Recovery projects for commercial entities and Federal, State and local government. 

Enterprise Architect with 8+ years of experience in IT strategy, IT application and systems, Integration, Data and Infrastructure.  Big 5 consulting experience preferred.  Must have experience in SOA and webservices.  Be able to perform technical assessment for Business Continutiy and Disaster Recovery,

The Managing Consultant will:
*Perform IT Assessment of Business Continutiy
*Create, develop, maintain and test detailed Business Continuity Plans (BCP), Continuity of Operations (COOP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) Plans, scripts, scenarios and other documentation
*Assist with the development of new business opportunities, development of "go to market" strategy, including methodology and proposal development.  Develop white papers on the BCP/COOP/DR topics.

 

Requirements:
*Strong IT Architect (Syatems and Data) experience
*Strong background and knowledge of current BCP, COOP and DR assessment and planning techniques and technologies (e.g., NIST SP 800-34, etc.).
*Previous experience managing consulting engagements.
*Strong writing, communications, organizational and project management skills.
*5 or more years of experience with a BCP, COOP and/or DR program required.
*Big 5 Consulting or professional services experience strongly preferred.
*PM Certification preferred.
*Up to 75% travel.

 

Educational Requirements:
*A Bachelor's degree required.  MBA and/or Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) designation preferred.
