A Managing Consultant will lead client projects with support from directors to develop accounting, process, analytical, consulting and industry skills, as well as have opportunities to develop management techniques. The candidate should demonstrate leadership abilities, possessing the skills and experience to manage and develop staff. The managing consultant should be comfortable managing client relationships and performing formal presentations to the client.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Leverage finance business process knowledge and experience to lead Business Process Reengineering projects
- Assist in working with post-SOX system issues and process improvements
- Conduct assessments of a company's people, process and technology and recommend improvements
- Interface with client subject matter experts and technical staff to develop business
- Work independently and in a team setting
- Interface with senior level personnel in a client setting
- Lead small to mid sized projects in a deadline oriented environment

Job Experience:
Qualifications/Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field
- Desire to pursue applicable professional development and certification(s)
- 5 plus years of Consulting and/ or Financial Services experience preferred, CPA a plus
- Experience working in the Finance function, including the following: (1)Financial, Management or Regulatory reporting; (2) Accounting / General Ledger operations; (3) Finance IT
- Effective oral and written communications skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills are a must
- Flexibility with respect to travel
