Managing Consultant, Business Continuity
Avalution Consulting is actively recruiting for a Managing Consultant responsible for the development and growth of a consulting services practice focused on the Atlantic seaboard, with a focus on the New York, New Jersey and Connecticut areas. This position will play an active role in business development, recruiting, and project management of local consulting engagements. Additionally, this position will be a key member of the firm?s leadership team, and will enable a continuing maturing of the firm?s strategy.
Mandatory Skills and Experiences6+ years of business continuity (crisis management, business recovery and IT disaster recovery) industry and consulting expertiseExperience selling and delivering business continuity-related consulting services, to include business impact analyses, risk assessments, strategy development, plan development, testing/exercising and training/awareness solutionsExperience managing large consulting projects and client relationshipsExperience supervising and mentoring consulting teams, including conducting performance evaluationsParticipation in the development and execution of a marketing planExperience developing proposals and responses to requests for proposalsCBCP or MBCI (or higher) certificationWillingness to travel
