Managing Consultant

 

In response to a rapidly growing customer base, Kalido is expanding its Professional Services organization and seeking the next generation of leaders.

 

Kalido consultants are seasoned professionals who advise our customers and Systems Integrators on the best practices of applying the KALIDO product suite to customers? Master Data Management initiatives. They are involved at the early stages with in projects in the critical tasks of architecture, design, and modeling. A Managing Consultant is a leadership position, managing multiple customers and projects, provide high-level architectural and project management guidance, and accountable for the projects? overall success. This position requires up to 70% travel.

 

The person filling this role must be adept in both a pre- and post-sale environment.  Ability to communicate KALIDO capability and value to both business and technology oriented audiences is required.

 

Currently this position is open in eastern United State.

 

Mandatory Skills and Experience

 

? 10-12 years experience in client facing role in IT consultancy.  5-8 years in IT project/program management. 

? At least 3 years of systems architecture and design.

? At least 3 years of hands-on experience performing business requirements analysis to support proposed enterprise systems.

? Demonstrated leadership commensurate to role throughout career.

? MBA or MS

? degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or comparable corporate management training program

 

Desirable Skills and Experience

 

? Hands-on experience working with Business Intelligence (BI) or On-Line Analytical Processing (OLAP) tools.

? Strong conceptual grasp of multi-dimensional modeling and the data warehousing approaches of Ralph Kimball  and Bill Inmon

? Application development and schema design for large-scale applications being deployed on DB2, SQL Server, and Oracle

? Familiarity with data Extract Transform Load (ETL) tools such as Informatica, Ascential, Ab Initio, Cognos Decision Stream, or Oracle Warehouse Builder

? Prior hands-on experience with Kalido Products.
