Qualifications:



Experience in structural system product design, problem solving and CPPD team leadership is highly desired.  Preference given to candidates who possess a good understanding of CAT engineering standards, drawing practices, TeamCenter Engineering (iMAN), EDS, HVC and geometric dimensioning & tolerance, as related to product design, is also desired.  General understanding of structural analysis methodologies and component manufacturing processes is a plus.  Must work well in team environments and have good communication skills.

 

Responsibilities:



Position is responsible for conducting product design on existing product.  Candidate will lead CPPD teams in the product design, validation and manufacturing implementation of the product.  Primary emphasis will be on product reliability improvement, support of manufacturing enhancements, and cost reduction.

Other:

You will act as an interface with the customer between their engineering team and our design teams in addition to performing mechanical design work yourself.
