Microsoft Business Solutions-Great Plains Consultant

Overall Objective:

  To successfully implement and support Microsoft Business Solutions-Great Plains and other related solutions in small to mid-market sized businesses with a high level of client satisfaction.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

q Provides onsite consulting assistance and project direction during the initial implementation

q Provides ongoing assistance as scheduled following the implementation

q Assists with Technical Support services as assigned

q Performs data conversion and custom report writing with the assistance of the consulting services team

q Performs training in classroom environment to team members and/or clients

q Provides sales support to account managers

q Documents services rendered using Consulting Services Worksheets and other project related paperwork

q Communicates regularly and effectively with client, account manager, practice group manager, project manager and other consulting team members as to assigned projects via meetings and/or conference calls

q Meets productivity and efficiency standards (billable hours and realization rates)

q Use internal systems and processes to maintain client relations and business operations

q Maintains core competencies outlined for a Microsoft Business Solutions-Great Plains Consultant role

q Maintains a current awareness and understanding of and fully complies with client code of conduct

 

Qualifications:

q Bachelor?s degree in accounting, technical, business or related

q 2 - 3 years consulting, manufacturing, and accounting experience

q Possesses effective oral and written communication skills with all team members

q Displays ability to perform essential tasks with professionalism

q Experience with Microsoft Office and operating system environments
