Mid-Level Engineer

Job Description:
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Physical Science, Computer Science, or Mathematics from an accredited college or university with at least seven (7) years experience in relevant technical projects related to professional engineering disciplines. 10 years total experience in aforementioned areas is acceptable in lieu of Bachelors degree. Can independently apply technical knowledge in field of expertise. Implements scientific principles as directed, applies appropriate methods/procedures, and integrates same into engineering
projects. He/she must have experience and skills necessary to perform the following tasks: 1) Applies appropriate engineering and scientific principles to meet technical requirements as assigned by higher technical contributors; 2) Implements technical plans, collects data to measure and reports technical progress, executes tests, assesses performance data, reports results, and implements solutions to technical problems; 3) Works with other technical employees in implementing professional guidance to accomplish project goals, reports training needs to higher levels, and participates in professional activities as directed; and, 4) Contributes technical information for production of technical reports and other technical products, such as overall project descriptions, design plans, fabrication procedures, test plans, and technical reports. Engineers software solutions based on client requirements. Responsible for engineering aspects of programs by performing and directing assignments in the design, analysis, evaluation, modification, and integration of systems to meet customer requirements.

Candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational skills are required. Military or civilian agency experience desired. Ammunition and PEO Ammo experience is preferred.

Clearance is not required at contract start but applicant must be clearable.
