Oil and Gas Professional Services Consultant

Performs software implementation services in support of proprietary upstream oil and gas operations systems.  Leads software implementation and process improvement projects including definition of scope, objectives, deliverables, identification of team members, measurements and success criteria. Quantify and deliver value (cost savings, cycle time reduction, etc.) through process improvement. 

Job Responsibilities

? Train end users on software procedures and business workflow processes.

? Support client meetings; assist in facilitating small group projects and client work sessions; and support client and stakeholder interviews.

? Design and deliver presentations for executive level communication

? Facilitate the standardization, implementation and design of business processes, controls, best practices, policy/procedures and system architecture

Required Skills:

? Functional or process knowledge in the oil & gas or utilities industriesProduction allocation knowledge, Drilling and Completion knowledge

? Must have the ability to work under the pressure of time constraints and be adaptable when priorities shift.

? Strong change management and organizational alignment skills.

? Microsoft Access experience, SQL, Microsoft Project and Visio skillsAbility to analyze and manipulate data through use of query tools

? Strong project management and team leadership skills, strong interpersonal and organizational skills essential.

? Understanding and experience with Business Process Management methods, best practices, and programs including techniques, tools, metrics and measurements.

Preferred Skills:

? 2-5 years of experience in a business consulting or business process management capacity with a Big 5 Consulting Firm

? Knowledge of report writing, database querying techniques, and SQL.

? Strong team building and facilitation skills.

Education:Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Business, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science or related field.
