This consultant is responsible for directing a team of consultants in the gathering of facts (primary and secondary data), analyzing the client's business (competitors, customers, markets, value propositions, operational models, etc.) drawing conclusions, preparing final reports, and giving the presentation.

Must have knowledge of the Retail Store Operations, Merchandising, E-commerce and Multi-channel solutions, and have the capability to sell and develop relationships with clients.

Prior experience in operations strategy consulting with experience in:

- Retail Store Operations
- Merchandising
- Multi-channel solutions
- Ability to conduct strategic assessments
- MBA/MS degree required
- 6+ years experience with a combination of industry and external consulting experience required.

Experience managing and mentoring a team; ability to establish and develop relationships with clients.
Must be able to self-direct and work effectively with others at all levels of an organization -- with team members, senior leaders, and clients. Must function as both a team member and a workstream or engagement leader in a time-compressed, highly dynamic and potentially ambiguous client situation to ensure milestones and deliverables are achieved.

TRAVEL & LOCATIONS: Since the majority of our consulting work is done at our client sites, this position requires 80-100% travel. It is expected that newly hired resources into the gbs U.S. Strategy & Change practice live within a reasonable commuting distance (generally 50 miles) of the following cities: Atlanta, GA; Boston, MA; Chicago, IL; Los Angeles, CA; New York City, NY or Philadelphia, PA.
