Oracle Developer

Strong Oracle PLSQL skills required (5 years).
Writing complex Oracle stored procedures in UNIX environment required (5 years)
Operating Systems: good understanding of UNIX, Linux, & Windows NT/XP platforms
Detailed knowledge and experience of working with Database and ETL technologies and other programming languages
Programming new data extractions (or modifying existing data extractions) from multiple data sources/platforms
Programming new transformation routines or leveraging pre-built common process transformation routines (e.g., cleansing, summarizing, deriving, etc.) on extracted data as specified in business requirements documents.
Mapping extracted and transformed data to defined targets.
Researching, analyzing, and recommending effective ETL strategies/solutions as needed. Documenting ETL issues and routines.
Interfacing and coordinating with business users, Global Controllers, and other Systems members to gather data, resolve issues, etc.
Participate in ETL user acceptance testing (UAT).
Knowledge of Financial Services industry, fund accounting, custody, investment banking.
Knowledge and experience of enterprise-wide financial systems would be advantageous
