Financail, Retail or Telco Industry Expereince
Will provide large-scale Project oversight and direction for ERP Financial Application Implementations. Development of short, medium, and long term plans to acheive strategic objectives. Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met. Create and manage an overall project plan for large scale Oracle engagements often a combination of diverse projects packaged into a single solution. Directs very large strategic bids. Monitor and report progress/changes against the plan. Drive implemenation by motivating and directing the project team, a team which may include cross functional departments at Oracle, third-party vendors, partners, and the client. Act as primary interface with clinet regarding deliverables. Identify and communicate opportunities for new business. May include responsibility for technical Development.
Preferred skills include 7-10 years experience with 2-5 in a Project/Program Management function with a strong understanding of Project Management principles. Strong technical knowledge to include Oracle or Peoplesoft ERP Applications and full cycle Development processes. PMI certification highly desirable.
? Program/project management skills (project plans, steering committee, project staffing, PMI certification)
? Global programs/projects (International country cultures, multicurrency currency functionality, local accounting principles, local regulatory requirements, software localizations, software multi-language)
? Business process knowledge (General Ledger Accounting, Procurement to Pay, Financial Consolidation, HR)
? Project methodology experience (AIM, Andersen Method One, etc.)
? People management experience (direct management, leading people)
? Pre-sales experience (can you help sell consulting, sell application licenses)
? Executive presentation experience (PowerPoint)
? Project management software skills (e.g., MS Projects)
? PC Microsoft Office skills (Word, Powerpoint, Excel)
? Flexibility to travel required.
