Oracle Financials Utilities Project Manager

The BearingPoint Utilities team is currently searching for a Oracle Financials Utilities Project Manager.

We are looking for a Project Manager - creating project charter; creating project plans (MS Project); creating and maintaining project budget; conducting status meetings; facilitating requirements meetings; reviewing deliverables; driving the team
Current top-performing team members help create quality deliverables; provide business advice; have some technical expertise
The ideal candidate will work from start to finish as the project manager. For example, the project could be a package implementation. The project would have the following phases: RFP creation; Package Selection; Business Requirements; Configuration; Data Migration; Testing, Training; and Roll-out
Exceptional client performance will be provide via
Face-to-face daily or via conference calls.
Must have very strong client/interpersonal skills.
The person in this role can present ideas, suggestions, recommendations = the client team is very open to advice/best practices.

Position-specific Requirements:
Project Management (PMI certified preferred but not required)
IT Knowledge (strong and diverse background needed)
Utility Knowledge (preferred)
Oracle Financials / Maximo Knowledge (preferred)
5 years of IT experience
2 years of project management experience
1-2 years of utility experience is preferred
Logistics:
Atlanta, downtown
Travel requirement- No travel at first on the initial project, but all BearingPoint candidates need to be able to travel 80%
