Oracle Functional Analyst (ERP)

This position will be responsible for managing and supporting Oracle ERP 11i Order Management and related modules, peripheral application integration, enhancements and/or changes. Work with our Order Management Business Partners world wide to understand their business requirements and suggest development technologies.

Responsibilities include technical and functional expertise in the Order to Cash process, both technical and non technical requirements gathering and communications, as well as strict adherence to SDLC, PMT & SOX guidelines. This person will help lead projects and programs from discovery through deployment. Experience gathering user requirements, finalizing design requirements, developing implementation plans, and handling code promotion process.

Must have experience with Oracle Development tool set that support 11i (Oracle RDBMS, Forms, Reports and PL/SQL). Follow a structured software development life cycle including requirements signoff, design review, code review and user acceptance testing.  Applicant must have project management, strong communication skills and ability to translate user interactions to detailed design specifications. Assists or leads development and execution of test plans to minimize production issues after implementation of new products, enhancements, changes or upgrades.

Applicant must have strong written & oral communications skills. Must be self-motivated and committed to successful completion of projects to meet business expectations. Must be able to work with minimum supervision, as well as able to lead teams to a common goal. Ability to work across IT and user organizations and geographies.  Must be a team player who can lead and be lead.  Fosters and maintains good relationships with customers and IT colleagues to maintain high customer satisfaction levels. Will require occasional travel.


Experience Required:
Minumum of 5 years of Oracle ERP 11i Applications experience a must. Experience with OM, Pricing and Shipping module a must. Experience with Oracle development tools (RDBMS, Forms, Reports and PL/SQL) desired. Projects dealing with virtual teams desired. Project Management experience with small-midsize projects and urgent timelines desired.

Education:
BSCS/EE or MSCS/EE or equivalent combination of training and experience, plus a minimum of 8 - 10 years of proven experience.
