Oracle Supply Chain and Financials Technical Consultant

JOB TITLE: Oracle Technical Consultant
LOCATION: Columbus, OH

DURATION 3-6 months temp to perm



JOB DESCRIPTION:

--consultant needs to be about 60% technical and 40% functional if
possible
--this consultant will be more on the senior level side, 7-10 years
of experience
--consultant needs to have knowledge and experience with Oracle 11i
modules
--knowledge and experience with Demand-to-Plan
--knowledge and experience with Advanced Supply Chain
--knowledge and experience with Order-to-Cash

--this project will last 3-6 months, maybe longer
--pay rate is open for now

 

 

General Responsibilities: 
Under minimum direction, provides technical leadership for specific
Oracle E-Business suite module(s), and day-to-day technical support
for the Production system. Works with business analysts and business
users to gather requirements and convert them into technical
requirements. Co-ordinate day-to-day development/support work with
offshore developers. Develop work estimates, work breakdown
structures, formulates/defines system scope and objectives that
involve multiple related projects. Mentor programming staff and
ensure they adhere to department development procedures, such as
coding conventions and the Software Change Request process.

 

Skills: 
The client is currently going through an Oracle ERP
implementation and in order to support the applications we are
looking for candidates with technical/functional experience on the
Oracle 11i E-Business Suite and 3+ years of experience with one or
more of the following modules:
* Financial
* Purchasing
* HR/Payroll
* Discrete Manufacturing
* Order Management
* Advance Supply chain planning/Demand Planning

Additional requirements include the following:
* Strong understanding of Oracle 11i E-Business Suite Architecture
* Advanced SQL *Plus and PL/SQL knowledge and ability to query
databases
* Good understanding of Oracle forms and Reports
* Working knowledge of Oracle Interconnect & Workflow
* Excellent Problem Solving skills
* 8+ years total IT experience
* Solid understanding of manufacturing business practices and
principle
* Strong Verbal and Written communication
* Solid background using various Software Development Life Cycles and
 coding conventions
* Bachelors degree in a technical field
