PMO Functional Lead

The BearingPoint Army Team is currently searching for Program Management Consultants

Performance Profile:
Department of Defense (DoD) Acquisition, Project, and Financial Management support position on a team providing program management support to a Major Army IT Project Management Office (PMO).

Daily activities include client interface and support may include preparation of DoD 5000 acquisition documentation; contral management; cost and schedule performance analysis; earned value management; cost-estimating; economic analysis; Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCE); Life Cycle Cost Estimating (LCCE); and IT investment planning to include IT-300 and Budget preparation support.

Position-specific Requirements:
5 years minimum work experience required, preferably in the Department of Defense.
2-5 years experience in DoD Acquisition Management, DoD Program Management, and DoD Financial Management. Candidate should have work experience supporting a DoD project and/or program.
2-5 years experience with DoD 5000 regulations, acquisition process, and milestone documentation; Knowledge of federal contract management and the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR); and experience with the defense planning and budgeting process (e.g., POM, IT-300, LCCE, etc.)
US Citizenship is required.

Additional Skills:
Experience working with OSD or other branches of the military is desirable.
In addition,
candidate must have good written and oral communication skills and be proficient with the MS Office Suite.
