Product Specialist, Tech Industry Consulting

Forrester?s Consulting organization provides customized research services to firms. We do this by tapping existing syndicated research and standard project delivery methodologies to deliver projects that meet the unique needs of our clients.

The Product Specialist will work closely with our Product Director to identify, define, and develop standard consulting products and offerings that leverage our syndicated research and respond to the demands of our target clients, who are generally technology marketing executives at large tech industry companies. The Product Specialist will help develop case studies, marketing collateral, and Web site content that support these offerings. In addition, the Product Specialist will collaborate with other members of the Consulting team to develop standard proposal and presentation templates that will be used during the sales and delivery processes. The Product Specialist will be responsible for promoting tech industry consulting offerings through marketing campaigns, presence at Events, and sales awareness activities.

Responsibilities:
?Collaborate with the Consulting Product Director and Vendor Consulting Practice Leader on product development and marketing process for tech industry offerings ? from product identification and definition to pilot, structured rollout, and promotion of mature service offerings.
?Manage and support the development of standard proposal templates, sales training tools, client presentation templates, and other sales tools for the tech industry consulting offerings.
?Work with the delivery team to create a set of meeting agendas, interview guides, presentation templates, and other standard delivery tools.
?Collaborate with the marketing team to develop case studies, Web site content, and other marketing collateral that supports the sales process.
?Promote Forrester Consulting tech industry offerings by maintaining and upgrading the Web site, tech industry-specific Win Wire communications, marketing campaign activities, and presence at Forrester and external events.
?Develop and manage the inventory of sales and delivery materials for all tech industry consulting offerings.
?Support sales training efforts by creating the training agenda, schedule, and tools.
?Maintain product repositories including the capabilities and offerings repository, case studies library, reference library, etc. for tech industry offerings.
?Manage customer feedback database for tech industry offerings.
?Generate quarterly dashboard for each tech industry offering, including but not limited to bookings, revenues, and customer satisfaction.
?Conduct competitive analyses.
?Serve as internal liaison and contact person for tech industry consulting offerings.

Requirements:
?Bachelor?s degree in business, marketing, or related field.
?Two or more years of relevant experience in the high-tech sector.
?Effective organization and time management skills.
?Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills.
?The ability to learn quickly and work independently.
?Enthusiasm, assertiveness, and creativity.
?A customer service-focused attitude.
?Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
?The ability to travel approximately 15% of the time.
